Family Counselling
Relate family counselling can help, whatever your family's situation. We offer counselling for whole families, parents and children, siblings and blended or extended families.
Every family argues from time to time, but if your family's arguments remain unresolved, problems can get worse. The longer you leave them, the more difficult it can be to make up, making it stressful and tense for everyone. Relate can help you resolve these problems.
But things don't have to be at crisis point for you and your family to benefit from counselling. We can help improve your family's relationships to prevent trouble in the future, and help you get along together in the present.
What is Relate family counselling?
You can see a Relate family counsellor individually, as a small group or with the whole family together. We won't take sides or tell you what to do. We will encourage each family member to have a voice and help you to resolve your differences together.
Your family is unique. You have your own unique needs. Our counsellors are experienced relationship experts and are specially trained to work with families to help you get along and resolve your problems.

Family counselling is not yet available at all Relate locations. You can find your nearest Relate here to find out if you can access the service in your area, or call 0300 100 1234.
Will I have to pay?
Relate makes a charge for its services but does not aim to make a profit. Individual Centres will be able to advise you about how much they charge, and some do offer subsidised sessions.
